Jobsite toilets
Ontario Ranch, the former New Model Colony south of Riverside Drive, is one of Southern California's largest master-planned build-outs, with new tracts breaking ground every season.
Events & weddings
Events at Ontario Convention Center, Toyota Arena and Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park need units placed where the venue allows, plus handwashing near food.
Homes & remodels
Ontario Ranch tracts are HOA-run, so check whether your HOA allows a unit in the driveway before delivery day.
What should Ontario renters plan for?
Ontario renters should plan for summer heat. In summer, busy units in Ontario may need a second weekly service, and shade helps keep odor down. The other Ontario question is ownership: private yard, HOA common area or city street each has different rules.
- Weather: South Ontario sits on flat, open former dairy land; summer afternoons pass 95°F and dust blows across graded lots.
- Building activity: Ontario Ranch, the former New Model Colony south of Riverside Drive, is one of Southern California's largest master-planned build-outs, with new tracts breaking ground every season.
- Local tip: Ontario Ranch tracts are HOA-run, so check whether your HOA allows a unit in the driveway before delivery day.
- Permits: Ontario special events go through the city's Recreation and Community Services department; anything in the street needs a Public Works encroachment permit. Unincorporated San Bernardino County events use the County's Temporary Special Event Permit.
Which porta potty setup fits your Ontario job or event?
Ontario orders are mostly jobsites, warehouse builds and remodels. One standard unit covers a small crew in Esperanza, and a 100-guest party of up to 4 hours needs 2 units. For events at Ontario Convention Center and Toyota Arena, confirm placement with the venue or park office first.
| Job or event | Recommended setup |
|---|---|
| Crew of 20 on a new build | 1–2 standard units + 1 handwashing station, weekly service |
| Remodel crew of 3 in Esperanza | 1 standard unit on the driveway, weekly service |
| Event at Ontario Convention Center, 75 guests, 5 hours | 3 standard units + 1 handwashing station |
Ontario porta potty rental questions
Answers specific to renting in Ontario.
Can you deliver a porta potty to Ontario Ranch today?
Usually, yes. Ontario Ranch is about 12 miles from our yard, so a morning call can get a unit there today. If the day's trucks are full, it goes out first thing the next business day.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty in Ontario?
A unit on private property in Ontario rarely needs a permit. The exceptions are street or sidewalk placement, which needs city right-of-way approval, and large public events, which need an event permit.
How does summer heat affect a porta potty in Ontario?
In summer, busy units in Ontario may need a second weekly service, and shade helps keep odor down.
Does the 12-mile trip from Fontana change the price?
Yes, a little. Trucks reach Ontario by I-10 west, about 12 miles, and the trip fee reflects that run. Units delivered together share one trip charge.
How early should I book porta potties for an event at Ontario Convention Center?
Book 1–2 weeks ahead for most events at Ontario Convention Center, and 4–8 weeks ahead for holiday weekends or a restroom trailer. Ask the Ontario Convention Center office where units may stand before you book, since the truck needs a reachable, level spot.
Do you serve The Grove and Countryside?
Yes. The Grove and Countryside are on our regular Ontario routes, along with Ontario Ranch. Give a street address or map pin in ZIP 91761 or 91764 and the driver finds it.
