What makes a deluxe porta potty different?
A deluxe porta potty adds a foot-pump flush and a hand sink to the standard unit, with soap, paper towels and a mirror. It holds its own fresh water, so it needs no hose or power. Guests get a cleaner-looking bowl and a place to wash, which matters at weddings and family parties.
Deluxe flushing unit tech specs
A deluxe flushing porta potty is about 46 inches wide, 48 inches deep and 7.5 feet tall. It carries a fresh water tank of about 15–20 gallons for the flush and sink, and a waste tank of about 60 gallons. Because the flush and sink use water, it needs service sooner than a standard unit at busy events.

When should you pick a deluxe unit over a restroom trailer?
Pick a deluxe flushing unit when the venue has no garden hose or outlet, when the guest count is under about 100, or when the budget does not stretch to a restroom trailer. Pick a restroom trailer when guests are in formal wear, the event runs into the night, or you want air conditioning.
A common middle ground: 1 restroom trailer for guests plus 1 standard unit for vendors and the catering crew. Compare all options on the wedding restroom page.
Deluxe flushing unit questions
Answers to questions renters ask us before they book.
How much does a deluxe flushing porta potty cost?
A deluxe flushing unit typically runs about $370–$640 per event in Fontana, depending on distance and dates. It costs more than a standard unit because it carries fresh water and needs more servicing. See the full price guide.
Does a deluxe porta potty need water or electricity?
No. A deluxe flushing unit carries its own fresh water tank for the flush and sink, and it has no electric parts.
Is a flushing porta potty a real toilet?
It flushes with a foot pump that rinses the bowl with fresh water, but waste still goes into a holding tank under the unit. It does not connect to a sewer.
Is there a light in a deluxe porta potty?
No. Daylight comes through the roof. For evening events, place the unit near outdoor lighting.
Can I get a standard unit with just a sink?
Yes. Ask for a standard unit with an inside sink, or pair standard units with a separate handwashing station.
